Centauri is an exciting residential camp where creativity is nurtured through the arts! Boys and girls attend for 8, 14 or 28 days, mixing with youth from all over the world and exploring their chosen art form. Specialists - taught by professionals - include Theatre, Writing, Dance, Film, Art, Photography, Design, Musical Theatre, Music, Singing, a multi-arts adventure and cultural tour to England! Arts and sports electives are chosen daily and campers participate in exciting camp activities each evening. Centauri is a supportive community where children aged 8-18 develop arts skills and grow in confidence, making memories that last forever.

Campers attend Centauri from across Southern Ontario and all over the world. Some of our campers are serious about training for a career in the arts, but the vast majority are regular kids with multiple interests who want to try something new! We have excellent
facilities and terrific recreational activities but what we are most proud of is the quality of our staff. Our counsellors are dedicated, inspiring, caring and community-minded university students who hope to follow a career in teaching or the arts. Our programs are run by skilled arts professionals who also have a talent for teaching. The result is a community packed with inspiration, creativity and excitement where campers can be themselves, growing in confidence through the arts.

In addition to camp programming, we offer an international arts tour each summer. Join us in August 2012 as we make a movie in the mountains of North Wales!
