MWA is a Christian character-building wilderness camp for high-potential, underachieving adolescents. Students strengthen their moral character and build self-esteem through rewarding work, wilderness tripping, counselling, and experiential education. For over 30 summers we have introduced young people to the wonders of God's creation in an environment that helps them find and extend their limits through challenging themselves, learning to live in community with others, and confronting the claims of Christ in a setting away from the busyness and distractions of modern life. Our caring Christian staff model and teach faith in action and the character that is necessary to succeed.
