Assistant Outtripping Director

The Assistant Outtripping (OT) Director is responsible for delivering hands on leadership to CQE cabin trips. This person will work closely with the OT Director, and will primarily help to lead short hiking and canoe trips. Another significant portion of their job will be assisting in the delivery of staff training, trip planning and packing, and taking on the role of the the OT Director in his or her absence. This person will need to have an in depth understanding of CQE's tripping program and goals, and a willingness to learn about all of the outtripping systems, policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications: NLS, Standard First Aid, CPR C, Wilderness Advanced First Aid, Criminal Reference Check including a Vulnerable Positions Screening, ORCA Tripping Level 2 or equivalent.
Preferred Applicants: Patient and positive indivuals with outtripping experience, and the ability to work well with a wide range of people.
Employment term: June 27 - September 5, 2010.

Weekly wage: $250-$350 dependent of applicant's experience and qualifications.
