Voyageur Tripper

The Voyageur Tripper primarily leads one and two week voyageur trips. Trippers are expected to be able to comprehensively plan, pack, and lead hiking and canoe trips ranging in length from 2 to 12 days. Tripping staff should be prepared to play a variety of roles during the season. While primarily hired to lead extended outtrips, these staff possess the skills and flexibilty to lend support in the delivery of other outtip programs.
Required Qualifications: NLS, Standard First Aid, CPR C, Wilderness Advanced First Aid, Criminal Reference Check including a Vulnerable Positions Screening, ORCA Tripping Level 2 or equivalent
Preferred Applicants: Flexible individuals with extensive camp outtripping experience. Demonstrates excellent wilderness risk management knowledge and abilities.
Employment dates: June 27 - September 5, 2010.
Weekly age: $250-$350 dependent of applicant's experience
