Toddler Teacher/General Counsellor

Camp Diamond is searching for a Nanny to work with the Camp Director's son who will be 2 1/2 years old. When not working with toddler, you will be participating in camp activities with the younger campers. You will live in the cabin circle with the rest of the staff and campers.
Qualifications:
Minimum 19 years old as of June 5, 2012
Standard First Aid & CPR C required (Training available prior to orientation for cost.)
Prior experience working with toddlers & children under age 3.
Currently enrolled in or graduated from Early Childhood Education program or equivalent preferred.
Prior summer overnight camp experience either as a camper or staff member an asset.
Ability to be
able to multitask when necessary.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Patience,
dependability & nurturing personality required.
Clear Criminal
Record Check with VSS is required.
Duration: June 5 - August 25, 2012
Stipend for contract: $1400-$2000 plus room & board & one day off per week
