The Tim Horton Children’s Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing an enriched and memorable camp experience for children and youth who come from economically disadvantaged homes. THCF is currently recruiting for a qualified:
Bilingual Registration and Travel Coordinator
Tim Horton Children’s Foundation – St. George, Ontario
Summary: Reporting to the Registration Manager, this position will assist in registering and providing well managed travel for children to and from our residential camping program.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in administration or customer service.
· Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
· Highly motivated individual with a high degree of initiative.
· Highly developed trouble-shooting skills.
· University or College education in a related field.
· Bilingual (French/English) is essential.
· Camp experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
· Working with the Registration Manager to produce and coordinate the distribution of residential camp applications.
· Review camper applications and approve children within the THCF guidelines. Work with contract staff to ensure all applications received are entered, approved, and confirmation letters are sent out.
· Manage applications that require follow-up (i.e.) missing information.
· Follow up with Coordinators on applications that have been declined in a timely manner and re-issue applications as needed.
· Responsible for filling beds when a camper declines or a space is not filled.
· Responsible for sending out registration materials to camps in a timely manner.
· Coordinate with
· Ensure all supplies required are in stock. Provide feedback as required for monthly analysis.
· Assist in recruiting coordinators as required.
· Ensure Parents and/or Guardians are fully informed and their camper is prepared for the camp experience.
· Continually auditing current department processes and assisting with overall process improvement
· Other tasks as required
