The Tim Horton Children´s Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing an enriched and memorable camp experience for children and youth who come from economically disadvantaged homes. The THCF is currently recruiting for a qualified:

Tim Horton Onondaga Farms –
Job Summary: Reporting to the Program Manager, the Camp Program Coordinator provides excellence in customer service and aids in the implementation of the camp’s overall strategy for implementing high quality Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer camp programming. This includes our Fee for Service and Community Partnership Programs.
Qualifications Required:
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR or higher
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Drivers License
- University or college degree/diploma in business, recreation, or equivalent
- Experience working with children
- Highly organized, strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- A solid understanding of positive youth development and risk management principles
- Bilingual in French and English an asset
- Experience supervising staff preferred
- Additional certifications in the areas of climbing and/or aquatics preferred
- Ability to live on site for an extended period of time (10 days)
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and evaluate camper programs ensuring they are in accordance with THCF and community group objectives.
· Provide a consistent, high level standard of customer service to all incoming groups. Act as the initial point of contact and conduct orientation meetings.
· Assist the Program Manager with the recruitment of program staff and help direct the training, development and supervision of staff.
· Assist with group program facilitation where necessary.
· Work with the Program Manager to continuously build new relationships within the community.
· Be a positive role model for young people including teaching and setting a good example in areas such as proper manners, goal setting, accountability, respect for the environment, and respect for each other.
