The Ted Cole OCA Golf Classic

Ted Cole was a life-long supporter, past president and leader of many initiatives of the Ontario Camps Association (OCA) and a founding member of the Kids in Camp charity (KIC). When Ted passed away in August 2008 he left a legacy of music, leadership and friendship. When he had the time, Ted golfed; so It was only natural that he was co-chairing a tournament that would raise funds for OCA and KIC and also bring together friends and colleagues to enjoy a day of golf. The OCA Board of Directors, many of whom were mentored by Ted, felt it was only fitting that the event which he was helping to organize, bear his name. The Ted Cole/OCA Golf Classic is scheduled for Thursday May 28th, 2009 at the Station Creek Golf Club near Stouffville. This is a premiere event of the OCA to support the activities of the OCA as well as supporting the work of KIC.

It is our hope that you will support this event. Listed are a number of ways that you can get involved:

1. Participate as a golfer! Complete the registration form CLICK HERE and submit it to the OCA office. There are now less than 100 spots available. The fee is $200 per golfer or $700 per team (foursome). The price includes both lunch and dinner. Register ASAP!

2. Join us for dinner! We invite anyone who is unable to golf to join us for our silent auction and dinner at Station Creek. Plan to arrive at 6:00p.m. for our reception and Silent Auction. The cost of dinner is $75.

3. Buy a book of Raffle tickets! Tickets may be obtained by contacting Lauchlin Burnett at the OCA office (info@ontariocamps.ca). If you have previously purchased raffle tickets they have been already included in the draw which will take place on May 28th.
